Dorset Mind is a local charity that has supported people in Dorset with mental health challenges since 1946. They educate, challenge mental health stigma and inequality, and promote recovery by empowering individuals to develop resilience and maintain their wellbeing.
Dorset Mind provides a fantastic, wide range of support services locally. These are delivered on a one-to-one or group basis to develop and maintain positive wellbeing.
The groups are either talking or activity based groups. All of them are led by a faciliator, and are safe and non-judgemental. Dorset Mind's one-to-one support includes Active Monitoring (CBT-coaching), Befriending, Counselling and Mentoring.

Education support is only UK charity dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of teachers and education staff in schools, colleges and universities. Their website contains access to a huge range of guides, articles and videos covering all aspects of managing mental health and wellbeing.
They also offer access to an employee assistance programme (EAP) helpline which offers counselling. If you've used your counselling allocation within the Trust's EAP for a specific issue for which you've been receiving support, this provides a valuable second line if you require further sessions.
