The Trust has an obligation to support your Health and Wellbeing in the workplace. If you recognise that you are stressed, anxious or struggling; either because of work, or personal circumstances, please talk to your line manager or your HR manager. Even small changes, or simply talking to someone can make big difference.
A range of support options are available through work, and these are listed below:
Counselling is available through the Trust's Employee Assistance Programme (part of our Health Cashplan)
The Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) also offers a huge range of support on a wide range of day to day concerns including support and advice on money, legal and housing issues. There are also a host of practical action plans to manage your wellbeing.
As part of the EAP, you can also download the Wisdom app, and use reference code MHA169154 to get started. The app contains a host of wellbeing videos, podcasts, 2 minute reads and 4 week plans available which can support you to achieve your wellbeing goals.
The Trust's Health cashplan can provide cover for complementary therapies. If you know you are not feeling yourself, on referral by your GP you can claim up to £50 for Homeopathy, Reflexology or Remedial Massage. Stress & Anxiety can often result in musculoskeletal issues due to tension; you can also claim up to £150 for Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Chiropractic and Acupuncture treatments. These do not require referral from your GP. Check out all the benefits available here
Exercise is known to impact and improve mood, and help manage stress. If you fancy cycling, our cycle to work scheme can help you cover the cost of a new bike (including e bikes), in a tax efficient manner, so taking the payment stress out of purchasing a new bike
Check out the wide range of wellbeing discounts available through our Health Cashplan partners.
Welfare check - use this with your line manager at your 1:1s to keep a finger on the pulse of your wellbeing
Stress Risk Assessment - If you think your stress is arising from, or in part, through work, a stress risk assessment may help identify and manage causes. These documents are available from the HR template library, and also on the Judicium Website under the Documents tab.
Online stress management training is available through the Judicium e-learning platform. If you haven't taken this course, please speak to your line manager as this is available to all staff.
The Trust supports flexible working requests, and will consider each request and support as appropriate.
