Menopause ambassadors are staff members who have received specific training on how to support and signpost other staff within the Trust who are going through the perimenopause or menopause.
They can act as the bridge between staff and line management in cases where either party feels uncomfortable in having conversations regarding the menopause
Menopause ambassadors are advocates. They help raise awareness and allow menopausal staff to connect and share experience.
Menopause ambassadors aim to remove any awkwardness which still surrounds discussion about the menopause. They are passionate about the subject, and about employee wellbeing.
