Having had the lightbulb moment myself when attending some training, I realised how important it is to be able to have these conversations at work and to get the support that you need.
I feel passionate about supporting all colleagues who may be experiencing symptoms. I can be there if you need to reach out to chat things through, offer support and also help facilitate conversations with your line manager if needed. I am based at Colehill First School so please feel free to drop me an e-mail, phone me or reach out whichever way you are comfortable with.

We would love to hear from you. Anyone can be an ambassador; it is not role or gender specific and the more ambassadors we have, the better for the Trust. Each ambassador brings their own unique skills and experience to the role, and everyone is welcome.
We know we already have some additional staff lined up, so please keep an eye open for their bio's and contact details which will go up shortly.
If you're interested in the ambassador role, drop us a line at ambassadors@initiolearning.org and we will be in touch with more information,
Hi, I'm Emma Walker and am an HR Officer for the Trust. I split my time between the central team and some of our schools including St Michael's Middle School and Witchampton First School, providing HR and wellbeing support.
For me, menopause support is a natural extension to our current wellbeing initiative, and this is an area I am completely passionate about. Because of my HR specialism, I can support in facilitating conversations between staff and line management, and helping with any of the HR changes which may be needed to ensure you are able to stay happy and productive in your role.
Over the last few months I have had many conversations with employees who are currently experiencing menopausal symptoms, and I am dedicated to ensuring that they feel confident and comfortable in the workplace and beyond.
